Best Western Plus Meadowlands, Secaucus

The hotel has a weird and closed-for-many-days smell upon entering, with dust everywhere, a cracked sink, broken tiles, and a bed without a valance revealing the box underneath. The staff is really friendly and helpful, taking time to answer questions about getting into New York City. The location is near Walmart and a bus station to NYC, offering a great view of Manhattan. The dining options are available, including fresh waffles, eggs, sausages, and more, but the quality is poor. Despite the negative aspects, the hotel exceeds expectations offering great public transport to NYC.

The hotel is conveniently located right near NYC, offering clean and spacious rooms, although some areas needed better cleaning. The service was professional and friendly, with a minor issue of a wet rag left in the room. The location is ideal for visiting Manhattan, with a bus stop just across the street, while dining options were satisfactory but could use more variety.

The hotel provided the essentials in the room, but unfortunately, it caused discomfort at night due to dry and itchy eyes. On the bright side, it had everything we needed for our stay.

The Meadowland Inn is a mixed bag with clean rooms but some notable drawbacks; however, it's not recommended for any guests seeking a special stay, especially for special occasions like anniversaries.

Even though the hotel had not been used for some time, my stay was a mix of musty and pungent smells in the rooms, likely due to poor ventilation. The location, not far from NYC in a bustling shopping area in Secaucus, made it convenient for exploring the city. The service was top-notch with super friendly and very helpful staff, making the to-and-from the city a breeze.
